Children’s Chorus of Springfield hosts 2015 Celebration in Song Festival
Springfield, MA (May 23, 2015) – The Children’s Chorus of Springfield hosted the 2015 Celebration in Song Festival on Saturday, May 23. Regional youth choral groups from throughout New England sang on the steps of Springfield City Hall. Four-time Grammy award winner Charles Bruffy conducted the Children’s Chorus of Springfield in a rendition of “Route 66” as well as the combined choruses at the conclusion of the show.
Nancy Urbschat, who serves on the board of the Children’s Chorus of Springfield, says “This is just the beginning of an exciting new era in the life of the Children’s Chorus of Springfield Kudos to Marcos Carreras and Luis Manzi for pulling off this huge undertaking.“
